With those hot summer days quickly approaching, I want to make sure my skin looks great sans makeup as much as possible. And all of that starts with… my skin!
The CINCteam and I can all agree that our biggest pet peeve about our skin is our pores and what lies within them. While large pores are unfortunately often the result of genetics, sometimes they can be caused by oil and dirt buildup that’s stuck in the skin. In the quest to minimize our pores (or at least the appearance of them)- genetic or not, I rounded up four of my favorite products to help you get rid of those damn pores!
It all starts with getting that dirt out of your pores and this charcoal face mask is incredible! I was introduced to it by one of the girls on the CINCteam who noticed a huge change in her skin texture after she started using it. It goes on super easily and is the perfect way to remove the dirt and toxins in your pores, clarify and hydrate your skin all at the same time!

Oh sheet masks, how I love you. When I said that there’s a sheet mask for everything in this post here, I wasn’t kidding! These pore focused minimizing face masks and nose strips are total life savers and do more than your average sheet mask. The strips are great for both clearing out your pores and tightening them.

This face polish has very quickly made its way to my favorites. It’s gently exfoliating and leaves my skin feeling soft as a baby’s bottom! A little goes a long way, so just mix some powder with some warm water (I like to add a little bit of honey, too!) and apply it like a regular mask. I like to use it along my t-zone to really help shrink those pores!

Your pores won’t go away overnight, especially if they’re a genetic thing but using this primer make it look like I never had pores in the first place! It lights up my skin and smooths over my pores making my skin look #FLAWLESS. Remember, a little bit goes a long way!

Hi Chriselle, I love this post & definitely sheet masks!
Just wondering, is this applicable for men as well? My husband has huge pores and acne scars & i’m looking to help him reduce them.
Love,
Calleigh
Yes! Totally works for men as well! 😉 xo
I love Dr Jart+ products.
I swear by glycolic for helping pores and exfoliation.
I can’t go a manual exfoliant since my skin is sensitive – and glycolic is natural too!

…Seriously? You can’t get rid of pores. You can minimize the appearance, but you cannot get rid of them. This is an incredibly misleading title. And pore strips aren’t great for your skin, either (allegedly, and anecdotes).
This time of the year is HORRIBLE for my pores. I need to try out the French Girl brand though. Thanks for the suggestions! x

Mine look way better ever since I started cleansing my skin properly, I guess getting rid of the dirt and debris in them makes a huge difference.
