Spring Lip Service

Spring has officially sprung and everyone on the CINCTeam is super excited about it. Now that warmer weather is here, we’re swapping our boots for cute sandals and our warm fall lip colors for some bright and fun Spring colors! I gathered some of my favorite shades for the season to bring you my Spring Lip Service:

1. The Glosses

Glosses can be tough. You want the shine but you don’t want that sticky feeling. Enter the Chanel Rouge Coco glossThe formula is super moisturizing, it gives you a gorgeous light wash of color and does not feel sticky at all! These two shades are my current go-to’s. The first gloss is a red-wine berry color, which gives me the perfect pout and has me dreaming of a European vacation. The second color is a more coral-y nude which is a great everyday shade. Sometimes I even layer one of these glosses on top of lipstick or stain to change things up!

2. The Spring Red

This is officially the perfect red for Spring. The color (shade #300 to be exact) is kind of a mix of an oxblood red and a burnt orange, so when you have it on it looks effortless. There are two reasons why I love it so much: First, it’s buildable, so it can have on as much or as little as you want. Second, it looks good on everyone! I had some of the girls on the CINCteam try it out to see how it looked on different skin tones and now I think everyone in the office owns it! Lol!

3. The Ultimate Spring Shades

Nothing screams SPRING more than these colors! This Lorac lipstick is the nude to end the search for the perfect nude lipstick. It’s got an orange undertone which I find super flattering and the application is incredibly silky smooth. The gloss is beautiful and is the perfect bubblegum pink you’ve always loved, and unlike the Chanel glosses above, it’s super pigmented and colorful!

4. The Metallic Lip

Okay, these shades are for the bold, bad-gal Riri types!  Its a bit out of my usual look, but aren’t they GORGEOUS?  The metallic lip is everywhere I look nowadays and these two Mac shades look like little galaxies condensed into a lipstick bullet. You could either go bold and wear them solo, or layer them on! I like to use the lighter lilac shade under the berry Chanel gloss from above! It looks like a gorgeous berry-metallic masterpiece.

5. The Liquid Lip

A while ago, all I would wear would be the Bobbi Brown Art Stick, and while it will always be a classic for me, I’m now totally obsessed with liquid lipstick version! It goes on very pigmented (as you can tell in the swatch above) and is very, very moisturizing. I apply it by squeezing a bit of the product onto the applicator and sweeping it onto my bottom lip, then I blot my lips together and use my finger to blend in the color! If I want the color to be darker, I repeat to add an extra layer.
