3 Things You Need to Know About Chlorophyll Water

Meet the CINCTeam’s newest obsession: Chlorophyll WaterYou might have seen me talk about it on my Snapchat or Instastories, but this stuff has changed the way I drink water. Ever since my dear friend Mira sent these over, I can’t get enough of it! If you don’t know by now… I have a love-hate relationship with drinking water. I know I need it, but I just don’t like to drink it! I usually drink lots of Kombucha but when I discovered chlorophyll, it made drinking water a lot easier for me because I knew of all the additional benefits I would be receiving on top of staying hydrated. I even looked forward to it!

With that said, here are 3 things you need to know about chlorophyll water:

1. The Science

Okay, here’s the breakdown. Basically, chlorophyll is a green pigment found in plants that help with the photosynthesis process. It’s super rich in vitamins A, C, E, and K. And recently, chlorophyll in liquid form (as well as capsule form) is being used as a supplement, and people are loving it.

2. The Health Benefits

Why oh why would you want to add this green stuff to your water? Well, let me tell you, the health benefits of chlorophyll are through the roof. It increases your red blood cells, helps curb your appetite, promotes cleansing, reduces redness and swelling, has tons of antioxidants and is great for bumping up iron levels… and that’s just to name a few. Basically, by dropping the recommended 18-36 drops (read the labels!) into your water turns a normal glass into super glass of water.

3. The Effects

The team and I have been drinking chlorophyll water pretty consistently for the last month or so. Between all of us, we’ve noticed that it definitely curbs our appetites. We don’t snack throughout the day nearly as much anymore! Plus, it’s almost trained us to be more proactive in eating healthier! On top of kicking our snacking kick, several girls on the team noticed their skin clearing up as well!

So what do you think?  Are you willing to incorporate chlorophyll water into your lifestyle?  Let me know in the comments below!
