PFW Diary: My Day with Valentino

Ahhhhh finally! Valentino day! There’s always so much anticipation for this show as it’s been a favorite of mine since day one. For those of you that follow me on Instagram, you know that I was debating between 2 dresses. The majority of you guys chose Option 1 (the sequin separates) to wear to the Valentino show which I was so happy with! Plus, I ended up wearing the dress to the Valentino dinner later on, so it was a win-win all around!

The entire look was gorgeous and the dusty pink sequins made the outfit super feminine yet still glamorous. It made me feel a little nostalgic and reminded me a bit of the 20’s. I paired it with 2 small clutches. The first was a lipstick/mirror clutch and the other was a beautiful pouch. I’ve been seeing the “double bag” trend all around the runway and on the streets as well. To finish off the look, I paired these gorgeous broken heart shoes that I’m obsessed with! I also added a statement earring from PR series to glam it up even more.

It was such a phenomenal show with lots of colors and prints that were inspired by the Victorian era mixed in with amazing colors. I was lucky to be able to get exclusive access to backstage before the show started and I literally died when I saw all the pieces. Everything from the gorgeous prints to the classic pink/red color combination resulted in many heart palpitations!!

Later that evening, I wore the other gown to the Valentino dinner. It was even more amazing because I was able to bring Allen with me! It was a very beautiful and intimate dinner, and I was so excited that Allen got to meet my Valentino family and share this important evening together in style. Not bad for mom and dads night out, right? 😉
