Whenever I feel like I need a little life-refresh, I love to head to the spa, get a facial and just completely unwind and relax. And after an especially crazy fashion month and a whirlwind trip to Japan, a relaxing day at the spa is long overdue. But now that I’m back in LA with the CINCteam and at home with Chloe and Allen, I don’t have the time at the moment (and I just really want to be home)! My solution? Instead of going to the spa, I’m going to bring the spa to me! Keep scrolling to see my 5 steps to achieving a perfect at-home spa and treat yourself to some R&R this weekend!

[/parallax]1. Draw a Bath
First thing’s first, draw a bath. A good long soak in the tub is just what the doctor ordered! Whenever I’m really treating myself, I love to add Epsom salt to my bath. Believe it or not, Epsom salt has SO many health benefits. It helps cure aches and pains, it’s good for colds and congestion and it helps draw out impurities from your skin! If you don’t have a bathtub, run a hot shower and bask in the steam! Plus, if you put a few drops of essential oils onto a washcloth while you’re in the shower, the heat of the shower will help release the oils. Don’t you feel relaxed already?
2. Light a Candle
As your bath is filling up, light your favorite candle. Candles that smell like lavender or jasmine are proven to help you relax and relieve tension. And if you’re feeling a little fancy, get some small non-scented votive candles and light them around your bathroom. Turn off the lights to help with the ambiance.
3. Put on a Face Mask
You guys know how much I love my sheet masks! I love to have one on as I sit in the bath as well. If you don’t have any sheet masks available, an easy DIY mask that I love to whip up is:
2 tablespoons of honey
2 tablespoons of nutmeg
2 teaspoons of milk
4. Do a Lip Scrub
After I finish my bath and take off my sheet mask, I take a lip polish or lip scrub and give my pout a little love! With so many different lipstick changes and so many different climate changes, (airplane included!) my lips are usually so dry after fashion month. A lip scrub like this one helps buff off all the dead skin and leaves your lips ready to lock in moisture.
5. Finish with a Face Oil
The final step in my at-home spa is to do my skincare routine and finish up with a super hydrating oil to lock in all of the moisture. You might recognize this oil from ! It’s super affordable and if you’re on a budget, it’s a great alternative for some of the pricier oils on the market.
There you have it! The perfect recipe for my Under $60 At-Home Spa. Do you guys do anything or use anything that helps you relax? Let me know down below and have a fantastic weekend!
