DITCHING FASHION WEEK
It still feels so surreal that Allen is in Paris with me! Those of you that follow me on Instagram know by now that Allen arrived yesterday. It all feels like a dream. Although I wish I could say that it was a surprise visit (I’ve always dreamt of this), we actually planned it out a few weeks before PFW. The truth of the matter is that all relationships need some tender, loving, care no matter how deeply and madly in love you are. Just like anyone else, Allen and I go through our ups and our downs, but we always find a solution and make things work. When I start traveling (especially during fashion month) we often times get a bit needy and moody with each other since we miss each other so much. So this time we decided that he would come mid-week to see me in Paris to simply just be with each other.
Besides the fact that he got super sick on the plane… I decided to ditch some shows and events just to be with him. It was the best decision I’ve ever made! We spent the day together roaming around and doing what lovers do in Paris! As much as I love Paris I never felt at ease here since I was SO far away from my family. Now that Allen is here, Paris finally feels complete. We did absolutely nothing except for holding each other and just catching up. I don’t remember the last time we were together alone without Chloe. Although spending time with your baby is important, I also realized in marriage you have to put the same amount of love and attention to your significant other.
I’m so grateful that Allen flew halfway around the world just to be with me and I couldn’t be any happier. It’s been the best Paris Fashion Week by far because I could share every moment with the person I love most.
P.S: On another note how cute is my outfit? Here is ANOTHER trench that I’m completely in love with, but instead of your traditional camel color, it’s a silky navy color (similar here). SO chic! Will be posting some of my favorite trenches down below!
