The 5 Beauty Products I Always Have in my Bag

There are a few things that I have in my purse at any given time. I’ve got the usual suspects: like my phone, my wallet, my keys, and sunglasses but I also always have these 5 beauty products with me. They help me instantly feel refreshed and are great products to use for quick touch-ups. Plus, they all fit perfectly into my purse!

1. Elizabeth & James Roller Ball Perfume

A roller ball perfume is great when you need to refresh your scent throughout the day or feel like you need a little extra burst! I apply it on the inside of my wrists, the inside of my elbow, behind my jaw and at the base of my neck. I don’t know what it is, but wearing a good scent makes me feel like a new woman!

2. La Mer Concealer

Where would I be without a good concealer? I love this one by La Mer because the stick format makes it easy to use and it offers great coverage. I just blot the stick onto my problem area and blend it into my skin with my fingers! Pro Tip: if you’re wearing a statement lip and it happens to get smudged, using concealer is a great way to clean it up without smudging the color to the rest of your face!

3. Marc Jacobs Eyeliner

Eyeliner is a perfect multi-use product. I keep this one by Marc Jacobs in my bag to refresh my eyeliner throughout the day, but also to add a smudged eyeshadow look if I need to transition into a nighttime look! All I do is draw three little dots at the outer corner of my lids and smudge it in to add a sultry spin to my everyday makeup.

4. Sephora Blotting Papers

These little guys are lifesavers, especially during those hot LA summer days. I love when my skin to looks dewy and fresh, but there’s a difference between dewy and just plain sweaty! Blotting up that excess oil helps keep my makeup fresh and keeps my skin looking healthy.

5. Armani Highlighter

You might remember me talking about the Armani Fluid sheer in this post here. I usually put it under my foundation to add a subtle glow, but I like to keep some with me to add a little highlight to my cheekbones. My trick for keeping a highlighter with you is to use a stick like this one, or a liquid like this one to have better control when you apply it, and it also eliminates the need to carry around a brush!
