The Unexpected Neutral

Facetime With Chriselle

For this makeup look, I used a lot of products I found while I was in Korea and those new oval brushes that everyone on Instagram is using. I have been really enjoying using this bigger one to buff in my BB cream. Have you tried them out yet? If you have, let me know what you think of them! I added some eyeliner, a strong brow and a flushed lip to complete this simple yet chic makeup look.

Do you guys remember this pinstriped suit I wore a few months ago? Well, the pinstripes haven’t stopped! I layered this navy blue jumpsuit over a similar looking top (like this one) for a super casual day of meetings around LA. I love that even though this is a full monochromatic navy look, the pinstripes break it up just enough to give it dimension.

And, who says you can’t wear navy with black? I styled my jumpsuit with this studded Valentino bag and my old faithful black heeled booties (similar here) to subtly break up the navy. I like to think of navy as an unexpected neutral. When you hear the word “neutral”, you probably think of gray, black and brown tones, right? Well, I think you can officially add navy to that list!

PS: Have you noticed that there are two blog posts going up each day? So set your alarm, write yourself a reminder, tell everyone you know (including Siri), and remember to come back at 2 pm PST to see some more awesome content! We’ve been working hard and trust me, you don’t want to miss it!

Those shoes are so chic, and they literally make your legs go on for days! The pinstripe suit already lengthens your legs, but those shoes just make this whole ensemble perfect!

I just love you in stripes! I think that pinstripes are such a great pattern and they are so classic – they really look fabulous on you! I have always worn my black with navy and although some people have told me I shouldn’t – I totally agree, with you “Why Not?!” I love the combination!

I have tried that big oval brush! I use it for my tinted moisturiser everyday and it’s great! It’s also quite easy to clean!
