The Magic of Bonpoint

Some of you may remember when I attended the Bonpoint show for the first time last year (see the post here). It was absolute magic and I was so thrilled to be invited to the show once again and work with them on this special project. Although I wasnt able to bring Chloe with me this time, I’m hoping that next couture season (when the weather is warmer) I’ll be able to take her with me to her very first Bonpoint show! Can you just imagine CloClo sitting front row? My heart is exploding just thinking about it!

Luckily, we did get to do a little shoot with Chloe in some of my favorite Bonpoint pieces before I headed out to Paris. It was the cutest thing ever! They were all Parisian inspired looks that went perfectly with the theme of the runway show. Side note: how cute is Chloe in this little red beret? She had so much fun dressing up and being in front of the camera.

The Bonpoint show itself was totally magical. You can’t help but smile and giggle the whole time because everything is so darn cute! I absolutely loved watching the precious little models walk up and down the runway hand-in-hand. Some were timid, some were excited and some were searching the crowd for their moms! It was amazing to feel the entire room radiate with love for the little supermodels! The collection was whimsical, ethereal, and fairy-tale like, with fun punk-rock details sprinkled throughout it. It was full of that magical curiosity you have for life as a child.

Also, can we talk about how cute the rose embroidered detail on the blazer is? And all of those beanies! It was the perfect balance between effortless and classic. The entire time I watched the collection walk down the runway, I couldn’t help but wonder if I could get some of the pieces in my size?

I want to extend a huge thank you to Bonpoint for having me at your show once again this season! Congrats on the beautiful collection and I hope to bring Chloe for next season!
