Florals for Fall

Facetime With Chriselle

For this look I kept it casual with a top knot, a natural smokey eye and a flushed lip! The top knot really helped give this outfit a more casual feel and the lip color gave me a pop of color I needed.

Florals are usually associated with spring and summer, but who says you can’t work them into your wardrobe for fall? Florals have the tendency to look very feminine, so for this look I decided add a little edge to it by pairing this top with a pinstriped suit!

Wearing a suit can oftentimes seem very masculine, but I love the androgynous look it gives me. Plus, the blazer and the trousers (like these for under $150!) would look just as great on their own as they do all together! My styling tip for wearing florals for fall is all about focusing on the color palette. The dark roses and leaves on the top I’m wearing really adds a moody vibe which is perfect for a fall day, even though the flowers are on a light colored shirt. If you’re going for a darker color palette, like in this top here, that works perfectly as well!

I finished off my outfit with some pointy pumps and a studded bag to elevate the entire look. It really goes to show you how every element works to complete a look. The quilted bag, though feminine, gets a touch of edge with the studs and the sleek feminine heels get balanced out by the tapered leg of my trousers and the strong lines in my sunglasses!

PS: Get excited everyone- something big is coming to The Chriselle Factor in December! Let the countdown begin 😉
