Paris: Do it Like the Locals Part 2

It feels like every time I’m in Paris, I discover more and more places I want to try out! If you remember from part one of Paris: Do It Like the Locals, I asked my lovely Parisian friends to give me their recommendations for shopping, dining and more. For Paris Fashion Week Ready-to-Wear, I decided to do the same thing! I love finding cool new spots and revisiting old favorites. So without further adieu, here’s my Paris: Do it Like the Locals Part 2! (I didn’t mean for that to rhyme lol!)

Where to Find the Best Pastries

Laduree & Pierre Hermé

You all know how much I love macarons (as you can tell by some of my Instagram pictures above!) so anytime I’m in Paris, I make a mandatory visit to Ladurée or Pierre Hermé! Both are incredible pâtisseries and in the great debate of Ladurée vs. Pierre Hermé: why choose? Ladurée is more on the traditional side whereas Pierre Hermé carries more unexpected flavors. So whether you want a classic rose macaron in a green box or a mandarin orange and pink peppercorn macaron in a yellow box, macarons are always a good idea. And if macarons aren’t your thing, both places offer alternative delicious and picture perfect pastries to choose from as well!

Where to Shop

Buly 1803

As shown above, Buly 1803 is a skincare and fragrance playground. One step through the doors and you feel like you’re transported to Paris in the 19th century! From the interior to the products packaging, everything inside is like a piece of art. This spot is perfect to get gifts for everyone back home or treat yourself to a little piece of luxury. Colette

You might remember me talking about Colette in my PFW Day 4 recap. I stopped by earlier this week to support my girl Aimee at her book signingColette is one of those shops in Paris you just have to hit when you’re in town. It’s got the coolest selection of clothes, books, and souvenirs. Plus, it’s on Rue Saint-Honoré, which has all the gorgeous designer shops. Who doesn’t love a little window shopping?

The Neighborhood Pharmacy

Just like I talked about in my Five French Pharmacy Finds post- you can find so many great beauty products at the French Pharmacies. There’s a location around almost every corner and for just a few euros, you can stock up on some amazing French beauty products that will make you the envy of all your friends back home! Or you could pick up some for them too, I guess 😉

Where to Dance

Silencio

After a long day at the Louvre or a picnic in front of the Eiffel Tower, sometimes you just gotta dance, right? Silencio is a bar/lounge that’s loved by all your favorites in the fashion industry. If you’re looking for somewhere chic to get your groove on, definitely check this place out.

Social Club

Another great spot for dancing is the Social Club located in the 2nd arrondissement! This underground slightly hipster spot is actually in the basement of the building. So not only is it and underground club, but it’s literally an underground club!

Le Perchoir

A great rooftop moment is a must for any Paris trip. As shown in the picture above, Le Perchoir is the perfect place to do it! I mean, can you beat those Parisian rooftops?

Where to Stay

Hôtel Amour

So whether you end up staying at Hôtel Amour or not, you have to admit the neon sign makes for the best Instagram moment ever! Hôtel Amour is located in the 9th arrondissement and reminds me why I fell in love with boutique hotels in the first place! It’s small and quaint with picture perfect moments around every corner…

Le Pigalle

Located in one of my favorite Paris neighborhoods, Montmartre, Le Pigalle is a great place to stay in Paris. With tons of amenities and a great atmosphere to boot- definitely put Le Pigalle on your list!

Where to Eat

Brunch at La Société

As much as I love Paris, I’m definitely an LA girl at heart. So naturally, I had to find the best spot for brunch in the city! La Société is very chic and very English friendly. If you want to treat yourself a little you have to check this spot out.

Dinner at Robert et Louise in Les Marais

A CINCteam favorite, Robert et Louise in Les Marais is a spot my team and I always end up at every time we’re in town. It’s small and intimate so make sure you make a reservation first, and get ready to have the best steak of your life. Trust me on this.

There you have it! My Paris: Do It Like the Locals Part Two. Do you have any recommendations before my team and I head back to LA? Let us know in the comments below! Happy Wednesday! PS: catch up on my Paris Fashion Week diary HERE!
