Instant Fall Classic: Flared Heels

If there’s one trend that’s here to stay, it’s the flared heel. It’s like your favorite classic heel gets an edgy twist (not to mention added comfort) for fall. If you followed me during Paris Fashion Week, you know how hectic packing and planning my outfits could be at times. Thankfully, I remembered to pack my new shoes by Marc Fisher LTD. Not only were they super comfortable during those long Parisian days, but they literally went with any outfit.

Let’s be honest. Searching for the right pair of shoes for your fall wardrobe can be a bit tough: What color should I get? What’s on trend? What kind of heel am I going for? Are they comfortable? Are they wearable? Luckily for me (and you), these shoes meet all of those requirements. The flared heel is like the block heel’s super cool cousin!

For my first look, I wore my red suede Zanna Pointy Toe Chelsea boots paired with a lace top and a midi-skirt. They were the perfect casual touch to a dressier outfit, and the pop of red was just what the look needed. Chelsea boots are always a fall staple, but I love how Marc Fisher LTD gave them a chic update. You can dress them up like I did here, or pair them with some cool denim and a bell sleeve sweater for a cozy fall look.

This look means business. I wore my Jayla Dress Block Heel Ankle Booties to a meeting one day and they really elevated my turtleneck and statement skirt. One thing you have to be cautious of when wearing black ankle booties is whether or not they visually cut off your legs and make them look shorter. Thankfully, the silhouette of these Jayla booties is extremely elongating and gave me that extra height I was seeking. The pointed toe is really flattering and the flared heel made them super comfortable and easy to walk through the streets of Paris in!

For my final look, I paired these Zala Block Heel Pointy Toe Pumps with some cool denim, a simple blouse, and this amazing gray trench coat. If there’s one staple heel you need in your closets this season, it’s these. They’re extremely sleek, modern and the color is the perfect shade of taupe. Unless I’m on my way to a show, I like to stick to booties or flats while walking around the city, but these heels were so comfy I forgot I was wearing them when it was time to take them off! They’re also great transition heels: you can dress them up or down like I did here!

I think my favorite part about my Marc Fisher LTDs is that I could have worn any of them with any of my outfits. The flared heel really modernizes the silhouette and makes them crazy comfortable- so what’s not to love? Which look do you like most? Let me know in the comments below!
