3 Summer Pieces To Transition Into Fall

Transitioning your wardrobe for fall means breaking out the sweaters, coats, and scarves – but what about all of those summer favorites you aren’t ready to let go of just yet? There’s no need to pack them away them away just yet. I’m going to show you 3 transitional summer pieces you  can wear this fall that you probably already have hanging in your closet!

The Summer Cover-Up

I wore this cover-up A LOT this summer. Though it’s not technically a cover-up, this linen Acne Studios tunic was great for throwing over my bathing suit after a day at the beach with Chloe & Allen. To make it more appropriate for fall, I layered it with a black mock-neck sweater like this one, some chic jeans from AYR and a pair of classic pumps from Carolina Hererra. If pumps aren’t your thing- try paring it with some cute velvet flats or booties!

The Bralette

The bralette crop top was a huge wardrobe staple this summer and I’m not ready to give it up just yet. I styled it over a deep hunter green turtleneck sweater and paired it with some leather culottes. I’ve rocked this look a few times already- remember when I wore it for the Valentino show during Paris Fashion Week? It’s quickly becoming one of my fool-proof fall outfit formulas.

The Slip Dress

Oh…the slip dress. You might recognize this pink slip dress from a few outfits, but I can’t emphasize enough how much I love this look! It’s got the sexiness of the slip mixed in with the edginess of the back details. I paired these leather-like pants for a masculine meets feminine vibe. The possibilities on how to wear the slip dress this season are endless.

There you have it! My three summer pieces you can easily transition into fall. It just goes to show you that a good turtleneck can go a long way! Have a great weekend everyone!
