In-Flight Beauty Essentials: PFW Edition

Up, up & away! After a short week back in LA after the craziness that was NYFW (have you seen my recaps?) I’m now in Paris for Paris Fashion Week! Whenever Fashion Month rolls around, I feel like I spend more time in an airport/airplane than I do anywhere else. And just like I have a morning skincare routine and a nighttime skincare routine, I’ve pretty much perfected my in-flight skincare routine. So I’m so excited to share with my In-Flight Beauty Essentials: PFW Edition!

Glossier Super Serums

You all know how much I swear by my serums, especially on a long haul flight. Recently, Glossier (the brand behind the amazing Boy Brow and Stretch Concealer) came out with three Super Serums, each designed to target a specific skin need. While each serum is amazing, for the plane I love Super Bounce. It’s formulated with Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin B5 to keep your skin extra hydrated.

Aerin Rose Night Table Cream & Mask

I save this Aerin cream/overnight mask for the last leg of my plane rides. It smells like someone put a rose garden in a jar and it instantly hydrates my skin adding a boost of radiance. Dehydrated skin has a tendency to look dull, especially after an international flight, so this rose cream is the perfect solution. I like to dab some of the cream on my ring fingers, dot it all over my face, then massage it into my skin.

Laura Mercier Flawless Skin Lip Balm & Caudalie Resveratrol Lift Firming Serum

Let’s not forget that pout! Nothing feels worse than chapped lips on a plane. Enter the Laura Mercier Flawless Skin Lip Balm. This Rosehip Seed Oil infused lip balm is like injecting a ton of vitamins into your lips. It’s super nourishing and hydrating and when you wake up, your lips will be softer than ever!

This Resveratrol Lift Firming Serum by Caudalie has been one of go-to products for a while now. It’s oil-free and instantly plumps and tightens my skin. It’s great for all skin types and I swear by it on a plane or not!

Kiehl's Cactus Flower Hydrating Mist

Facial mists when traveling are a must for me. I was recently introduced to this Kiehl’s mist and I’ve fallen completely in love it. It’s made with cactus flower to keep your skin hydrated no matter how dry the conditions are, plus Tibetan Ginseng which is used to help your skin maintain it’s moisture and keep it ultra soft and smooth. It also helps protect your skin from environmental aggressors, which is great for germy airports. Plus it smells great!

Clean Shakes & Water Bottle

Traveling pro-tip: take an empty water bottle to fill up in a water fountain when you get past security! Or, use it to make your yummy shakes! I can’t stand plane-food, so I always make sure to pack snacks (even when I travel without Chloe)! I discovered these shakes from the Year of Wellness LeafTV box and I’m obsessed.

PS: How cute is my in-flight beauty pouch! It’s the packaging the Glossier products come in, and it’s perfect for beauty products.

Aesop Blue Chamomile Facial Hydrating Masque

Masks on masks! If you read my 5 Masks you Need for Fall, you know I love testing and trying new masks all the time. For fashion month, I’ve been loving the Aesop Blue Chamomile Facial Hydrating Masque. First of all, chamomile tea is great to calm you down (especially if you’re a nervous flyer) and get you ready to catch some zzz’s, so I love that this hydrating mask has chamomile infused in it! Though I’m totally one to throw on a sheet mask at 30,000 ft in the air, I love that this mask is clear. It’s giving your skin all the nutrients, without looking like a mummy!
