Bonpoint's Secret Garden

Bringing Chloe to Paris has always been a dream of mine. That dream came true about four months ago when I brought her with me to my very first Couture week in Paris.

Being back in Paris for my second couture week experience, I couldn’t help but wish that she was with me. Originally when planning for this trip I was going to bring her, but due to certain circumstances, it didn’t work out. Not to mention Chloe got invited to her very first fashion show by luxury French line Bonpoint! I mean … can you imagine? Chloe in the front row watching the show?

I was still able to attend the Bonpoint show and it was just cuteness and chic overload. I felt like I was in the French Country Side! Stepping into the venue was like stepping into a secret garden, everything from the greenery to the floral lemonade was just perfection. Plus, all of the adorable kids and baby models made me miss Chloe even more! (I totally started tearing up as I saw the little girls walk down the runway.) The collection itself was basically what I want my wardrobe… I mean Chloe’s wardrobe to look like! Filled with effortless and feminine dresses and skirts with delicate embroidery, white dungarees, and topped off with flower crowns and boater hats. It was the perfect balance between feminine, effortless, and classic. Not to mention Bonpoint has been creating children’s clothes for 40 years and they pride themselves on their atelier. So not only are they experts at making things incredibly cute, but also the masters of quality and comfort!

Even though Chloe was not able to make it to Paris with me we shot with Bonpoint in our neighborhood back in California. I picked out this beautiful embroidered blouse and paired it with these adorable shorts and sandals for that perfect summer look. We were going for that effortless chic countryside look. Don’t you think Chloe would’ve fit right in with the collection/runway show? Who knows … maybe she’ll walk the Bonpoint runway one day! *hint hint*

There’s nothing more rewarding than being a mother. Being able to watch her grow and develop into this tiny human is the most incredible experience. Thank you Bonpoint for not only making beautiful children’s clothes but also reminding me (and all the other mothers out there) to savor these precious moments with our little ones. Feeling so uplifted and inspired by the show. With that said I can’t wait to finally go home, and spend every waking moment with Chloe!

Have a great weekend everyone!
