In Ruins

During our little Palm Springs trip, the team and I came across this abandoned house. We actually had no idea that it was abandoned until we pulled right up to it. It was like a mirage! The decrepit ruins of the house and pool juxtaposed with this outfit gave such a cool and edgy vibe to such a feminine look.

It seems like off shoulder tops are definitely back on trend for this spring because I’m seeing them everywhere! So when I saw this gorgeous off the shoulder top (similar here) by Self Portrait on FWRD, I knew I had to have it. I mean, can a girl have too many off shoulder tops? It’s really the details that I love about this top, like the lace detail on the bottom, the buttons up the front, the piping and the tied sleeves. I can’t wait to re-work this top into all of my spring and summer outfits. Be sure to check out some of my off-the-shoulder picks down below!

If you remember from this post, I love experimenting with denim. When most people think of denim, their mind automatically goes to jeans but I’ve totally fallen in love with jean skirts! Especially this maxi skirt by Alexander Wang. I love the way that denim can edge up what’s usually a feminine shape and the frayed hem and the high slit were such cool details.

Though I’m sad that I’m heading back from an amazing vacation in Tulum today, I’m ready to get back to LA and get back to work! Here’s to an amazing week!
