3 Things That Make Me Feel Confident

I like to believe that everyone has secrets in their lives, whether they are big or small. I’d always been a little more on the shy side growing up & I kept a lot of things to myself. I remember caring so much about how other people thought about me and I was afraid that people were going to judge me. But being a grown woman now, many things have changed. Especially after becoming a mom! I’m a lot more outspoken and I think now I can call myself more of a free spirit. I’ve definitely let go of a lot of my insecurities as well. There’s nothing more freeing than embracing your true self and accepting your flaws.

Some of you may remember that back during New York Fashion Week I was awarded the Signorina Misteriosa award at the Signorina Misteriosa party of Salvatore Ferragamo in partnership with Bloglovin’! It was a total surprise to me, but I was so incredibly honored. Signorina Misteriosa is a celebration of a woman’s mysterious side. It’s a daring fragrance that frees the secret of a young woman who dictates the rule of her life. Her mystery is her essence and I can completely relate to what Signorina Misteriosa stands for. It’s a confident woman who takes control of her life and doesn’t follow the rules. She lives her life freely and confidently. I feel free when I feel confident, and I feel confident when I feel free.

A few things I love that make me feel confident and free are 1) walking around barefoot. I love being at one with yourself and your environment. I don’t get to do this often around Downtown LA for obvious reasons but when I’m able to do so, I take full advantage of it! 2) I always feel the most confident in a beautiful flowy dress when it’s feminine, comfortable and glamorous. And last but not least, 3) wearing a fragrance that best represents me. I love playing around with fragrances but this one really resonates with me. I love that it makes me feel womanly and sensual. Being sensual was always a part of me that I shied away from, but after being a mom, I’ve never felt more confident in my own skin and where I am in life.

Signorina Mistoriosa embodies who I am. Sensual yet sweet. Daring yet feminine. Outspoken yet mysterious. I think that’s how a lot of us are, we have so many facets to our personalities, and we should love all of them!
