Remember when I used to love wearing pink all the time and wearing very girly outfits? But as I’ve grown up & evolved in my style, I’ve gradually wore less and less pink. It wasn’t intentional, but I found myself staring to gravitate to a more neutral color palette or just simple monochrome looks.
While I was in Korea for my first Seoul Fashion Week, I was totally inspired by the young energy around me so I started to inject a bit more color into my wardrobe. For my last outfit for fashion week, I wore this cool sweater sent to me by a very famous actor by the name of Ah-In Yoo. I love that the sweater is a more masculine take on the feminine pink. I’ve definitely grown out of the feminine colors, but when it’s done in a cool masculine way, I’m all for it! Though it’s a very cotton candy pink, the structure and the graphic element of it give it an unexpected sporty vibe. I was definitely in a bubbly energetic mood when I walked around the city that day. It’s funny how different colors bring out different moods, right?
On our very last day in Korea we took the time to walk around the city a bit and we ended up the LED flower field. Unfortunately we didn’t have a chance to see it lit up at night, but during the day it was still stunning. From far away, they looked like real flowers! I love that Korea has an obvious blend of new and old. Which is similar to what I do with my personal style. I try something new, but stay within my classic elements! Happy Friday!

Saw this on your instagram a while back, and it was definitely a favorite of mine from all the looks during fashion week. So fun and chic! I love that the sweater has a little black mock-neck built in to add some structure and edge to the cotton candy pink.
And I agree, wearing different colors has the strange, miraculous power to sway your mood — pretty amazing 🙂

Was there exactly a yr ago. Beautiful place. How did Yoo Ah In end up sending u a sweater? Does he have his own label? Love the whole look.
Loving the LED flower field! 😀 My best friend was just in Korea recently, and she went to this same spot at night. She sent me photos, and it looks just as breathtaking at night as it does in the morning.
And oh gosh, Yoo Ah In sent you the sweater! I love all of the dramas that he’s in <3 You're so lucky, Chriselle! 😀
Loving this sporty chic look <3 It's very effortless yet super cute and youthful at the same time!
