How to Wear 4 Textures in One Outfit

Paris is my absolute favorite city to visit cause it’s so incredibly romantic and beautiful. My dream is to one day take Chloe! One of my favorite things about Paris is that can walk around the streets and discover new boutiques and hidden gems along the way. When I visit cities like New York or places in Europe, I definitely take advantage of that and try to walk as much as I can. I wore my Apple watch for the first time in Paris because I had to navigate myself to a meeting and it really came in handy! I was surprised that it would vibrate a new direction to me every time I turned. This was super helpful since I get distracted easily .. especially when the streets of Paris have so many interesting things to see! I was afraid that the Apple watch would look too techy to fit with my style, but I actually love how sleek it is.

Per usual I’m opting to wear a black monochrome look with a pop of red. I’m super super excited that winter is here because that means I get to layer up! (And I get to dress Chloe up in cute cozy looks!) Although my outfit is monochromatic, I’m playing with different textures such as plaid, knits, suede and leather (omg how much texture can one girl wear) to give this look more dimension. The trick here is to keep your pieces simple and clean! Although each piece has a different texture, the only thing that stands out is my plaid coat. When pairing your look together, try to have one piece be the “hero piece” where it stands out and use your other pieces to support it. And add a pop of red if possible of course, whether its a little Fendi bag or a red lip and you’d be ready to take the streets of wherever you are!

So after spending a week in New York, I’m finally home with Chloe! I’m really excited to be home with Chloe and Allen for the next few weeks and for quality time with my family…especially since the holidays are right around the corner. It’ll be my first holiday season with Chloe and I’m so excited for the next few weeks to come. Hope you guys have an amazing weekend because I know I will!
