I wore this outfit for the Polo presentation, which is a brand under the House of Ralph Lauren. When I went to my fitting and saw all the Fall colors, I knew immediately I wanted to incorporate an autumn color palette in my look for the presentation. I decided to go with a more classic country Ralph Lauren look. I would usually gravitate toward something a bit more tailored, but I’m so happy I went with this gorgeous plaid maxi dress. I paired it with fun accessories like this hat and neck scarf! I also love these heels. They’re suede which is the perfect texture for fall and they’re a kitten heel! I love that this silhouette of heel is making a comeback. (Remember me wearing this in the summer?) A kitten heel adds a bit of quirk and innocence to a look, plus, they’re super comfortable! It’s a win win!

During NYFW, it was actually quite warm. This plaid maxi dress is the perfect transitional piece because of how breezy it was! You could easily wear it for warm weather like I did here, or with thigh-high boots and a leather jacket for cooler weather. I’ve always been a big fan of plaid, and this dress had the most beautiful plaid I’ve ever seen. I think it’s because it reminds me of a school-uniform, so it brings an element of nostalgia. It’s one of those universal prints that can be worn at any age! I’d style it on Chloe, myself, or even my parents! That’s when you know it’s a classic print- when any one can pull it off!
