#MAKEYOURMARC

I used to consider myself a heels girl and I don’t know if it’s because of Chloe, or just the practicality of being in flats, but my style has totally changed. I literally live in flats now. I mean, last year around this time, THIS was my “summer uniform.” A chiffon skirt and heels. While I lived in dresses this summer, it’s definitely crazy how style evolves in just a year. I definitely find myself gravitating toward minimal color and stronger and more masculine pieces. I’m finally taking a break from my usual white flats and switching to these amazing black Marc Fisher LTD shoes! I just love how these black oxfords look unisex. In addition to stealing white shirts from Allen’s closet, it looks like I could be stealing his shoes too! Just kidding. These are mine. But all joking aside, I like how adding in an element of masculinity instantly adds a cool factor to an outfit.

I think pairing heels with an outfit is more expected, but when you wear flats and a touch of menswear instead, it’s unexpected and interesting. So these flats are the perfect essential now that we’re transitioning into fall. Here, I paired my more slouchy boyfriend shorts for a cool off-duty vibe. But I’m definitely going to pair these brogues with a girly dress soon- they’ll add the perfect preppy element to the look!

Marc Fisher LTD is also launching a new #MAKEYOURMARC program, celebrating real women who do extraordinary work. As you guys know, I’m a strong believer in the independent and inspiring woman, so this is very exciting news! Not to mention a good pun is always appreciated, right? Follow @MarcFisher on Twitter & Instagram, and if you use the hashtag #MAKEYOURMARC, $1 will be donated to Karlie Kloss’ charity, Kode with Karlie! I’m a huge fan of Karlie and I think it’s absolutely amazing that her charity can equip young women with powerful skills to follow their passion. You guys can make a difference in just using a hashtag! And the best part is, for every purchase of select styles on www.marcfisherfootwear.com, $20 per pair will also be donated to Kode with Karlie! You guys can also nominate yourself or someone that inspires you with the form found on here and be awarded a grant to support these girls! To find out more about how real women (such as yourself) are making their ‘marc’, visit Marc Fisher LTD on social and visit www.marcfisherfootwear/makeyourmarc! Like the saying goes, together we can make a difference!
