5 Favorites // Fall Lip Colors

It’s once again my favorite season of the year, Fall! I love the cooler weather because I can play with texture and layering. And as the leaves are changing color, (at least here in New York) I’m so excited for the drama and romance the season brings with it. Transitioning your wardrobe from Summer to Fall can be really overwhelming but one of the easiest ways to welcome the new season is to change up your lip color!

When the weather starts to change and the leaves begin to fall, most people gravitate to a darker color palette, and that’s very expected. This year change it up by playing with unexpected colors! So today, I’m sharing with you guys the 5 picks for my favorite fall lip colors !

1. Nude Pink

A nude lip is so classic. It’s chic and sophisticated and looks great without much effort. I love to keep my look as natural as possible, so I make to sure to always keep a nude lip color with me at all times. It’s natural and feminine. You can’t go wrong with nude!

2. Burgundy

One of my favorite shades for Fall is a deep burgundy. It can instantly elevate your look and give you an Old-Hollywood glam vibe. (See me wear it here!) Red lipstick can be tricky, but if you get the right shade for your skin tone, it can really warm you up and add a sexy & smoky look!

3. Light Pink

Just because it’s Fall doesn’t mean your makeup has to be heavy. I really started to experiment with lighter and airier makeup looks over Spring and I’m not ready to give that up just yet! I recommend you guys play around with light and fresh shades like this pink, and play up fall elements in your outfits!

5. Magenta Lip

When I think of Fall, I think of deeper jewel tones and warm colors. A magenta lip is more of a summer color as it’s “too bright,” but that’s why I think this could be a secret weapon lip color for the season! This color is fun and totally unexpected, and we all know how much I love to break the rules!

5. Coral Pink

Working with lighter and more neutral hues on your lips is a great excuse to play up your eyes, just like I do when I transition my makeup from day to night! I love a strong pink lip because in addition to applying it onto my lips, I can use the rest to blend into my cheeks using my fingers!
