SunStone Winery

If you guys follow me on Snapchat, you might have seen my team & I at Sunstone Winery a few weeks ago filming our Change Destiny short film! This final details of this project came together so last minute so I’m incredibly thankful to have been able to shoot at this amazing location! Besides the fact that Sunstone Winery is an escape to Tuscany Italy in California, and one of the most serene and beautiful wineries I’ve been to, Sunstone has a place that’s very near and dear to my heart.

I have a long term relationship with this location because this was actually the place where I shot one of my first big collaborative project. Two years ago, I was contacted by Tadashi Shoji to not only model but act as their brand ambassador for their 30th anniversary collection. I was really excited and thankful because this project gave me the affirmation that I was doing the right thing in an industry that was still so new. Coming back to Sunstone two years later was so nostalgic as I’m a new mommy now and we had another big project to film! It just reminded me to always stay humble and thankful for every opportunity that I’m given!

As you guys know, I have an affinity for luxury labels like Chanel. (If you haven’t noticed my constant rotation of my vintage Chanel bag!) Chanel’s knitwear brand, Barrie, is a fun mixture of playfulness and accessibility. There’s a playful and youthful vibe in this red tweed skirt but I love how the simple red sweater balances out the bottom. There’s a timeless elegance to Barrie’s line of knitwear which I love. I don’t usually wear color anymore, but I find that when I do, I wear the same monotone color from head to toe. I think monochrome looks are so effortless and easy to pull off. Challenging you guys to rock a fun colored piece this week!

Happy Monday!
