5 Favorite // Beauty Face Masks

If you guys have been following my snapchat lately you will know that I love showing you guys my favorite beauty products. Masks are one part of my skin routine that I constantly switch out. They are usually concentrated with high quality ingredients and leave you skin looking like you’ve been at the spa all day.  Today I’m showing you my top 5 favorite products and DIY face masks that will leave your skin soft and flawless!

1. Peony Brightening Night Treatment Mask

First off, you guys all know about my love for Fresh products, they always bring such radiance to my skin. If you guys remember me mentioning my obsession with sleeping masks, here is another one! I love how sleeping masks are so hydrating yet this one doesn’t get sticky when I am sleeping. And if you guys have sun spots (especially from the LA sun), this treatment is great for diminishing your blemishes!

2. DIY Egg Oatmeal Mask

2 tbs Oatmeal

1 tbs Honey

1 tbs Water

1 egg

Directions: blend ingredients and leave on for 10-20 minutes.

This ultra hydrating egg and oatmeal mask is so great after a long day. I like to actually blend the oats into a fine mill for easier application. I love masks like this one because there is a bit of grit in it. I am able to exfoliate my face while getting the benefits of a mask.

3. Fresh Rose Face Mask

As you guys might remember.. I did a DIY rose toner on my ice cube blog post recently. For some reason I gravitate towards products with rose in the ingredients. But I mean, who doesn’t want their skin to be as soft and fresh as a rose petal? This product smells absolutely amazing (like a rose garden!) and it really helps to brighten and tone my face. The gel texture in this particular mask is also ultra soothing and easy to apply.

4. Overnight Mask

Another overnight mask that I love is this one by First Aid Beauty! As I am getting older I have been focusing on brightening my complexion. I realize that that not getting as much sleep can make my complexion look more dull .. So I know that if I won’t get my full 8 hours (which is like never now) I just use this to get the illusion that I have had some beauty sleep! (Here are some more tips on getting your beauty sleep.)

5. Red Wine Honey Mask

Handful of Red Grapes

3 oz of Red Wine

1 tbs of Manuka Honey

Directions: Blend ingredients and leave on for 10 minutes.

A great way to use opened wine is this brightening mask! Its almost too good to eat! The honey has antibacterial properties so it helps with some minor acne. The wine has antioxidants that fights free radicals, rejuvenates, increases skin elasticity, firms, whitens, and leaves your skin bright and glowing. I know they say a glass of wine a day is good for you but who knew wine had so much benefits for your skin? & if you’re like me and you don’t like to drink.. this is a way to still get in that glass of wine a day!

And there you guys have it! My 5 favorite masks for bright and glowy complexions. Let me know if you guys try any of these items or DIYs!
