Something that you guys might have noticed about me is that I never go out bare lipped! The last thing I always do when putting on my face is applying the perfect lip for the day. Last Fall I talked about trying a purple lip to add drama for the season, but Spring is a season for love and light colors! Here are my 5 favorite lip shades for this season:
Laura Mercier Red Lip
Spring or summer, you can never go wrong with a classic red lip. I’m opting for a classic red for this Spring when I go to events or on little dates with Allen, like here! A classic red lip color should be a staple in all womens’ beauty cabinets. Looking for reds can be tricky but, if you look for ones with a blue undertone it gives off the illusion that your teeth are more white than they really are!

Warm Pink Lip
For Spring, I definitely wear a pink lip more often. (As seen here and here.) A warm pink lip can immediately brighten up your face and add a feminine touch to even a simple outfit. More often than not I opt for a pink lip so I can look more awake even when I’ve only gotten a few hours of sleep!

YSL, Rich Matte Red Lip
Aside from the classic red lip, I also have been sporting a matte lip. The texture is velvety and more modern depending on what I am wearing that day. Another major reason why I go for a matte lip is the lasting power! I don’t have to reapply it all all unless I have been eating.

Smashbox, Orange Red Lip
Orange lips can be tough to pull off but this warm tone orange has a bit of pink in it making it less intimidating to wear. I love how fresh and youthful a coral orange can be, it almost looks as if you have been eating a popsicle! Pair your orange lip with a graphic liner for a bold look this Spring.

Dior, Bold Fuschia Lip
This lip color is so fun and spring festival ready! For all my festival readers I encourage you guys especially to try this lip for a very Kylie Jenner look. I still have yet to try this color, but I’m excited to see how it will translate onto camera!
