Spring is almost here and instead of purchasing new pieces, you can rework the pieces in your closet to give yourself a new look! After all .. new year, new you right? Read below for my 5 tips on how to update your look with the pieces you already have in your closet!
TIP #1: Button your blouse all the way up
This tip may seem simple but it’s amazing how buttoning up the last few buttons to your blouse can instantly sharpen your look. You can easily achieve an incredibly chic and sophisticated look by using this tip! Pair it with leather pants and black stilettos for a power outfit!

TIP #3: Add a pencil skirt to your sweater
Adding a fitted skirt to a cozy sweater can turn a casual piece into a sophisticated and elegant look. I especially love this skirt because the sheer cut hemline!
Turtleneck Sweater: Inhabit (Similar one HERE) | Skirt: Bless’ed Are The Meek (Similar one HERE) | Shoes: Chelsea Paris (Similar one HERE)
Tip #4: Add a boxed vest to a casual outfit
Adding a structured vest to a casual outfit can instantly sharpen up your lines and add a strong element to your outfit.
Vest: BLQ BASIQ |Top: Zadig & Voltaire (Similar one HERE)| Pants: Zadig & Voltaire (Similar one HERE) | Shoes: BCBG (Similar one HERE) |Clutch: Jill Milan
Tip #5: Add a belt to your sweater dress
When in doubt.. belt it! Unless your sweater dress is fitted, a loose sweater dress can look very casual and boxy. We’re adding a skinny belt here to tighten up the silhouette line and to create a more preppy and put-together look!
