Having an LA winter in my fur lined denim jacket and knit skirt today. The crazy thing about living in LA during the winter is that sometimes you’d have days where pants are optional. And the day I shot this was definitely one of those days. Finding bottoms that actually fit my growing belly has been a challenge, but I found this tweed textured skirt that is incredibly stretchy! I love being able to emphasize my growing belly as I think it’s so amazing the transformation that a woman’s body goes through during this time. It took me a while to get used to, but it’s truly a beautiful & empowering thing.
Of course, the best piece to this outfit is the (faux) fur collar. Letting you guys in on a secret .. it’s a detachable fur collar. It’s the perfect piece to add to any outerwear or even cardigan to give it that extra wow factor. Also a great way to transition your spring/summer pieces into the fall/winter….A Winter Style Hack. Instantly my favorite denim jacket already looks more winter friendly! It’s definitely a must have for this winter, I’ve linked several of my favorite (faux) furs down below for you guys.
