Continuing my coat obsession for this season I thought I’d share with you guys my top 5 favorite coats right now. Treat yourselves to one of these amazing coats below!
1. The Military Inspired Anorak
Anorak Coat: Nordstrom | Top: J Crew | Purse: Stella Mccartney
This coat is perfect for any off duty look. There’s a pop of glamour with its faux ostrich feathers plus the price is affordable. I think that the feathers collar makes this coat a bit more special than your everyday anorak.
2. The Timeless Trench
Timeless is what this coat exemplifies, ergo featuring this coat in 2 blog posts: my camel coat and my how to look expensive post. I just can’t get enough! Check out those posts to see how you can make use of your trench this winter. The coat even complements even a basic sweater+jeans combo!
Wool Trench Coat: Soia & Kyo | Sweater: Lovers + Friends | Pants: Zara (similar and affordable) | Bag: Urban Outfitters | Shoes: Stella Mc Cartney
3. The Faux Fur Coat
You know how you have that one secret weapon item in your closet? Well this coat is just that. It is a head turner that is incredibly chic. Its soft color block and sleek silhouette makes me feel like a chic Parisian roaming around the city.
Faux Fur Coat: Glamorous | Dress: BCBG (Similar & affordable here) | Boots: Valentino (on sale!) | Bag: Elizabeth and James
4. The Wool Coat
This classic look is preppy and bold. A staple coat all women should have, it is the perfect topper to any outfit and can easily be worn with a dressy holiday outfit or like I have paired here, with a simple tee and jeans.
Cocoon Coat: Vince | Top: J Crew | Jeans: AG Jeans (More options here) | Scarf: Express

Duster coats have been hitting the runways like a storm recently. The one I’m wearing today is a perfect in between coat. It’s wearable yet still makes a statement because of its dramatic length and graphic print.
Duster Coat: Astr (on sale 40% off!)| Fedora: Express | Bag: (Similar here)
And that’s the 5 coats for this season! If you haven’t bought a gift for your mom or friend yet, I highly recommend one of these amazing coats!

Absolutely loving that red wool coat! I’ve been looking for a colorful coat to add to my collection, but this one is unfortunately slightly out of my budget range.

So an “affordable price” is almost $300… Affordable for who?
Like the coats, just way too pricey to be called essential.
