Leopard on Leopard

My tips on pairing leopard on leopard!

Photography by Karen Rosalie
When I’m in a rush in the morning, my go-to look lately has been {maternity} jeans, an oversized (slimming!) black tee, and a good coat. Tees are such a closet staple, but as my belly has been growing it’s been hard to find ones that fit over my bump nicely. This particular tee stood out to me because not only was it the perfect basic black T that every girl ought to have in their closet, but this company Ryu Ryu  also gives a portion of it sales to the children of  North Korea. (Find out more about it here.) Speaking of korea, my grandma in Korea started a family tradition to pass down family heirlooms to their children. This particular ring was gifted to me from my mom about 2.5 years ago when I got married, as  it was her wedding band from my dad. The ring doesn’t fit her fingers anymore (lucky for me) , so she decided to pass it down to me. It’s one of my most treasured pieces in my entire collection. I just love jewelry pieces with some history & heritage.
I’ve been recently getting alot of questions on mixing prints and color pairings. The key is not to have the prints be so match match. What i mean is, try to match leopard prints that are slightly different from each other. For example, my shoes are a simpler leopard print than my coat. It looks more effortless that way.
Tomorrow I’ll also be hosting the Michele Watches event at Nordstrom in Fashion Island from 1pm-4pm.  Come take selfies with me, go shopping, sip on some bubbly, and of course belly rubs!!! I’m so excited to meet you all!
Event address: 901 Newport Center Drive, Newport Beach 92660.
See you there!
