The Orchard House

Photography by Karen Rosalie

As you guys know, I’ve been making a lot of changes in my life lately. As my due date draws closer and closer, I’ve been doing the best I can to read up on materials for creating a cleaner and greener home. Up until now I’ve never really thought about getting in touch with nature or anything like that, but as my baby girl gets closer and closer to coming into this world, the more I realize I want to raise my child in a healthy environment. They say that the person you bring into this world becomes more important than yourself, but I never fully understood that until I started thinking about taking care of my baby girl.

I used to be the kind of girl that just uses whatever products that is immediately in front of me. But it really makes a difference when you make an informed decision on different products vs just buying anything off the shelf. I’ve definitely began seeing the difference in being conscientious of the products I use in my skin vs just using anything. So I highly recommend doing your homework and making more of an effort to be healthier to my readers as well, pregnant or not.

It’s crazy to me how saturated our lives have become with chemicals and products to achieve the perfect skin, health, etc. And who doesn’t love a new product? Conscious organic living is definitely a new world for me, but I’m excited to share with you guys more healthy and green tips as I learn more myself! Do you guys have any tips on living a healthier and more organic life? I could definitely use some tips!
