Layering Up

Slowly but surely the weather cools .. & I’ll be ready with my fall coats!

Awesome news guys .. the other day I was actually able to wear a coat outside! Granted, it was late afternoon, but that’s still a success right? Slowly but surely LA is cooling down.. I can’t wait! One of the reasons why I love fall is because suddenly outerwear is once again available to us. And there’s nothing more effortless and chic than donning a great coat. Agree? Agreed.

I’ve become so drawn to monochromatic lately but this pink coat is perfect because it’s just light enough to still fit my current closet palette. The neck of this coat is my favorite part though because it almost looks like a turtleneck, and is perfect for the colder days to keep your neck warm. And here’s a fun tip for dressing the bump.  Wearing all black + a structured coat can really minimize the size of the  bump and can make your outfit look really strong. When you have a good structured colorful coat not only does it makes dressing really easy, but it’s also a great conversational piece for a night out. There’s something about a cotton candy colored pink coat that not only makes you feel giddy and girly inside, but also it has the ability to make everyone around you smile as well. I’m a huge believer in color therapy. Colors play a major role with your current state of mind and how you feel. According to a few “Color therapy” sources they say, ” The color pink heals grief and sadness. Restores youthfulness. Brings you in contact with your feelings.” If you are feeling down in the dumps this week I highly recommend on adding a bit of PINK to your wardrobe this week!

Wishing you guys some midweek chills so you’d all have an excuse to break into your fall coats!
