Walk a Thousand Miles

Photography by Karen Chen

If you follow me on instagram, you’d notice that I like wearing flat shoes as much as I like wearing a pair of heels. I’m glad that lately the trend now is leaning a bit more on flats because honestly there’s not enough emphasis on flats. I believe that the epitome of fashion doesn’t always have to be in a pair of heels, as long as you rock what you wear with confidence. After all, confidence is the first staple you should always have in your closet!

As you might remember from previous post, I count Tods as one of my staples when it comes to comfortable and chic shoes. They’re so perfect for travel but also when I’m walking around in the city. I’m normally not a huge fan of hot pink but I love how this color pops. And what really ties it together for me is the gold hardware on the shoe that makes it luxurious and chic at the same time. (And you guys know I’m all about that gold hardware.) When I’m wearing a strong color, I like to pair it with neutral pieces like my Cuyana bag and denim jacket (that I’ve been wearing way too often). Dressing for the bump has been a bit challenging … or actually just a real struggle, but I’m glad I don’t have to worry about shoes on top of that. What do you guys think? Do you guys prefer heels or flats?
