Gloom Blooms

Excuse the radio silence for the past 48 hours here on the blog. I’ve been in the works on a new project with my sister for the past few months that has demanded much of my attention for the past few days. You guys will soon find out what we’ve been working on….promise.

Anyways I ended up staying in New York for an extra day due to some last minute meetings, and of course I used my ” But I only packed for 1 day” excuse to go shopping! I bought this Topshop Gingham skirt because it reminded me of  this red & white checked picnic blanket I used as a kid every Spring. And not that I need anymore white sweaters, but it came to my senses that I don’t own a CROPPED white knit sweater. Although my 48 hours in NY was entirely gloomy, at least the trees were blooming all across the city.
