As promised in yesterdays post, here is day 2 of my travels to Paris. I spent most of the day with audrey as she showed me around her neighborhood Les Marais. It’s a quaint little area with lots of cafes and beautiful boutique shops. We spent the day visiting the yummiest of bakeries and macaron shops (Laudurèe being one of them). The outfit I wore this day actually reminded me of a macaron. The pastel mint color is and pastels in general are something I’ve always been drawn to. Maybe it’s due to my love for sweets? Whatever the reason is, I am always drawn to it.
The skirt I’m wearing is from Philosophy and I was suppose to wear this outfit for their New York Fashion Show but I ended up getting into a car crash on our way to the show with Aimee. I chose this outfit for the show because I thought it would be perfect for Paris. It was feminine, flowy, pastel and romantic. All of the things I think of when I think of Paris.
Another thing I think of and have been completely inspired by in Paris is the architecture. No matter what side of town you are in, there is so much history at every corner. I just love the fact that even the simplest of buildings have different shades of color and flowers everywhere.
