Rockin' the Rococo

Photography by: Karen Chen

If you’ve been following my posts lately then you may have noticed one similar trend in all of my photos I’ve taken with my photographer Karen.  I have quite an obsession with white walls. Hence the reason why  just before leaving for Paris we had our office painted a striking white . But Karen (who took these photos) is just as obsessed if not more obsessed with white walls than I am (as seen HERE and HERE). Since beginning shooting with her we’ve tried a couple of different things and we’ve taken photos in natural light as I usually like to do, but she’s introduced me to the idea of playing with a bit of flash lately and I love how things look more sharp and crisp.

As you may know I am in Paris and I arrived here a day earlier then the shows began to take advantage of this beautiful city and shoot. I can’t wait till I can share the images with all of you! Today marks the start of Paris Fashion Week and  I’ve been enjoying every minute. One difference between New York Fashion Week and Paris Fashion Week is that I noticed is that I dress very differently depending on which city I am in. In New York I definitely dress more edgier. As for Paris I really take influence from the romantic surroundings and dress a lot more romantic and feminine. I’ve always had love for parisian fashion and I’m so glad to be immersed in it while I am here. Speaking of which, I think I’ve fallen in love with this city and I really think that I may never come back from this beautiful place. Just send me my hubby , Mignon & Captain and I will be set!

Where have you traveled to and just fell completely in love?
