Sweater Weather

Photography by Jana Williams

Now that Summer is officially long gone, there are a few things that I perpetually anticipate around this time of year- cravings of Pumpkin Spice Latte , frolicking around in a fluffy sweater, and the urge to wear holiday colors. I might be 2 months too early, but I jumped the gun and decided to do all 3 of the above today.

Call me impatient, but I’ve never been good about “saving” outfits for the “right” occasion, I, for one, am the the type of girl  that likes to buy things and wear it immediately. This gorgeous Cable knit sweater & teal metallic skirt came in last week from The Dreslyn, and its been hanging restlessly in my closet waiting for the temperature to drop a bit. I broke a little sweat today, as it was quite warm, but I  no longer could  resist from wearing this outfit. Just a little forewarning, I already anticipate that i’ll be wearing both the sweater & skirt in multiple different ways this season. This angora blend cable-knit sweater  is what I like to call the classic perfection- too good to only wear once.
