One of my favorite fall trends and current obsessions is the plaid shirt . The cool thing about plaid is that you can easily and creatively transform this classic shirt into several different ways to wear them, and they come in a variety of styles. The different sizes, colors and patterns of plaid shirts make pairing them simple and effortless. You can grab just about anything from pants and leggings, to skirts and dresses and add a plaid button up to complete your outfit.
A more obvious way to wear a plaid
is as a shirt with some pants
or denim. To clean up the look a bit, throw on a belt to highlight your waistline. Wearing plaid
as a shirt can also come in handy with your favorite skirt. Simply, tuck in your shirt into a skirt
, and you’ve turned a more casual shirt into a more blouse-like piece. You can even wear plaid
as a cover up or as a cardigan over a dress
, and give a more girly look some spunk.
Anyone can wear plaid, and with all the ways this timeless pattern can be styled, you’ll never run out of outfits! Grab a couple them this fall and have fun mixing and matching unexpected prints and styles for a feminine yet edgy look.
