Heartloom Part II

As promised in Part I of my Heartloom post here , this is the second part to the editorial that Karla Ticas shot for Heartloom  inspired by their Fall 2013 short film campaign. When the Chriselle Inc. team & I styled  this shoot, we experienced first hand how versatile the pieces really were. Finding for instance that this Aly dress could be worn on a casual day out, or more glam as we did for this shoot.

On top of how versatile these pieces are, I really loved the vintage inspired feel of their collection. You can really see the detail that they put into designing each piece. From adding unexpected delicate  details to their dresses as the did  here & here , or the intricate detailing on something as simple as this sweater, which completely adds Heartloom’s signature sophistication & laid back feel.

I hope you’re having a wonderful day!

This in addition collects the customer many of time and the obstacle of finding the right real estate by going from one customer to the other.

The red skirt almost reminds me of a upside-down tulip; so fresh and romantic. Although I adore your daily outfits, I still love these editorials that you are posting because they are fascinating.

For me personally these editorials you’ve posted are a fresh look on your blog, which make them so interesting to look at! Of course they are more like what we find on the fashion magazine, but even that makes it more interesting for me to look at on your blog! Here, I know you and can relate to you personally; therefore, would appreciate the editorials even more than I do on a fashion magazine!
Thank you so much for sharing them and as always they look outstanding.
    Much Love

  • Joy says:

While these editorial photos are nice and polished, unless you intend for the blog to be a fashion magazine of sort I think the more personal, outfit of the day, photos are more interesting. Then people can relate to you, think about how they can incorporate items into their outfit of the day. Editorials are good once in a while to mix things up, but I wouldn’t go with it being the majority of the photos.

  • Adore the red skirt SO MUCH! So fluffy and fun, yet really elegant because of the hair and red lips. Great green colored background to make the reds pop so much 😉

    New post up…
