At times I find it challenging in figuring out what to wear to a more casual meeting /Coffee Date. In my creative field your ordinary black power suit can be a bit overbearing, a conservative white blouse & pencil skirt shows no creativity, so the question remains how to showcase your personal style without being too casual or too dressy.

Although this outfit is a bit more casual than what I would typically wear to a “first” meeting, I find that its  a perfect balance of casual sophistication for what you call a a more casual “coffee date”  meeting.

I found THIS slightly nautical stripeed skirt last week on my Spring Shopping excursion, and was instantly drawn to the high waist & POCKETS! The DEEP pockets allow me to safely tuck away my iphone which is a big plus for me!

Also a Deep colored chambray top is a great substitute from my more casual light washed denim button up.  DARK denim adds a bit of luxe to a more casual material.
