When I get dressed in the morning.. I always revolve my outfits around my tops!! I particularly love the versatility in a striped shirt…you can play it up preppy , keep it casual, or make it edgy. We spent the day filming a new tutorial for Valentines day and it happens to revolve around THIS striped top from Joie. Can’t wait to share it with you guys!!

Anyways this gloomy, but slightly warm & humid LA weather has been quite detrimental to my thick, coarse, & wavy hair! Hence, the reason why i’ve been wearing a hat almost everyday this week! {Only girls with thick curly hair will understand my pain! haha}What is your style solution when your having a bad hair day??? Would love to know!!

xoxo

I was just looking back at older posts on your blog, trying to get inspiration as I picked out clothes for tomorrow. And oh! I love this look so much! I love each piece but especially those pants! I’ve seen so many fashonistas (sorry for the lame word but I don’t know what else to call you lovely ladies!) and I think they look amazing but I don’t think I’m brave enough to buy a pair.

  • You are so right, stripes are so universal and versatile, they are a true staple to any wardrobe. I love them and from time to time suffer from a stripe mania. Love this coach bag, such an amazing and rich color.loved your video btw :)

  • Love the top and the way the jacket so elegantly defines your waist by hitting in the perfect spot!

headband`s a great solution. and the hat. or the straight-from-bed-hair look will work nicely too)))

I really like this outfit. For me, it seems like a cool combination of differing styles, such as the effortlessly causal stripe top, cool faux leather pants, a sophisticated pop of the heels and so forth.
And yes, I have very curly hair and it turns into this huge puff, extra tight curls when humidity touches it. I’ve embraced it though, gives great volume. =P

I LOVE this look! I never thought moto stuff would go with heels and tweed, but it totally works and REALLY helps me meld my casual and more dressy parts of my closet!! I’m definitely going to try this!! Thanks for being awesome, Chriselle!!

I have straight hair but when is really hot I just do a bun, and change the styles with braids, sock buns, etc. Love your pants!

I have just the same hair problem! I usually oil it and roll it up in a bun when nothing else works.
