My Lucky Dress

Hope you are all having a great week so far! It’s been VERY warm here in LA, so immediately I ran to my closet to see what dress I could wear.

Decided to bring this Givenchy dress back to life, but in a form of a skirt!! When I rotate & repeat things I always try to find a different way of wearing it.

There are a few statement pieces in my closet that I hold closely to my heart. My wedding dress being one of those pieces and this Givenchy dress that I wore last year during fashion week being another. This particular fashion week was very exciting to me because it was the first season I actually attended shows as a “blogger” instead of a ” wardrobe stylist”. Which meant that our blog was growing and slowly getting recognized!

We were also so excited to find out last year that we were featured on the front page of Harper’s Bazaar…therefore we call this my “Lucky” dress. How far we have come from those days, right? We are incredibly lucky to have such amazing followers that have been with us since the beginning of our journey! I cant believe that its been a year since, and we are gearing up for fashion week again!!
Which look do YOU prefer?? Do you like it styled as a skirt as i’m wearing today OR paired with a tweed jacket like I did last year?? Let me know in the comments below!!!
xoxo

I have to say that I absolutely love the look of it styled as a skirt, I love how you style the whole look! The black sweater over top is very smart, and you look good of course! happy new year btw!:D
Wow! That dress is so amazing… It’s almost sneaky sexy with the sheer trim at the bottom, kind of a subtle garterbelt/thigh highs-effect.. Love both looks!

how did you keep your sweater up like that? usually if its a skirt, you tuck it in but is there a trick to this?
Oh man! That shot of your lips! Awesome!
And awesome outfit too.
Love the dress!!!
WOW, Haapers Bazaar? Totally deserved and supergorgeous with that updo… You should shove that in those persons faces who teased you about the forehead in your youth, or, let’s hope they accidentally stumble upon that site

such a stunning dress, I love the pattern!
I love how you styled it as a dress and as a skirt (quite preppy!). I would have chosen other shoes but only because ankle tie shoes are not my cup of tea.
Anyway, you look gorgeous!
That dress truly is a statement piece. I love it.
