As I hugged all of my bridesmaids goodbye from the limo, there was a certain anticipation built inside of me before it was my time to walk Down The Aisle. I had a good 10 minutes of solitude & alone time. And all of a sudden I was not only nervous to walk down the aisle , but also to stand in front of our 215 guests (my hubby has a HUGE family!!!). So immediately I prayed that God would be with me as I Walked Down The Aisle, to help me communicate my vows as planned, and not to faceplant into the grass in my 6 in. Gucci heels!!!

I’ve always been daddy’s little girl, so he moment I saw him I immediately started to get teary eyed. I promised myself not to start crying until our vows (which was pretty much inevitable), but at this point it was too late…the floodgates have been opened…
Last minute Allen & I decided to exchange vows, and i’m so glad that we did! Up until the week before our wedding I was convinced that we share our vows privately. Our wedding guestlist grew tremendously ,and I found it daunting to express our most coveted feelings and everlasting vows in front of 215 guest. But there was a little voice inside of me that kept urging me – and that voice was absolutely right! I am so glad that we agreed to say our vows in front of our guests. Allen’s vows not only moved my heart & made me cry a river, but he got the whole place running for their tissues. The words that he shared with me are words I will remember til the end of time. (view our vows HERE in our wedding video)
And as our pastor (Alex Choi of Sovereign Grace) pronounced us husband & wife, we both turned around with all of our anxieties & emotions lifted….and all that was left was pure bliss, excietement , & happiness!
…and just like that we were married and ready to celebrate the night away with our loved ones at our reception!!
TO BE CONTINUED…..
