The thought & the idea of doing a boudoir shoot makes me slightly blush, but after I saw these beautiful & classic shots by Elizabeth Messina made me think twice. The word “Boudoir” reminds me of those “sexy” and “racy” photos, but if I were to do a boudoir session I would want it to look like the images above- classic, timeless, & elegant.
What are your thoughts on a Boudoir session before your wedding for your soon to be hubby. Are you guys for it? Would YOU do it? Let me know your thoughts below!!

NOPE! I’d be so embarrassed if I had kids and they got a hold of those photos!
boudoir is the french way to say the place where a lady gets dressed…not a lingerie photo shot!!!
I would do it. I see such a photo session also as a gift to myself, to be proud of how I look, even with the little imperfections we all have. Feeling sexy for your loved one is a good thing, IMO.
I actually did it for my fiancé when I was just 22 (I’m 30 now), and I loved and love the pictures. The photos are really classy, very similar to above shots, just in black and white. I am considering redoing it soon before I have kids, just because I like how my body looks like right now (I worked really hard for it after gaining some weight). And of course we keep the photos in a safe place, since this is definitely something that should be privately enjoyed, not displayed on top of your nightstand/fireplace/etc…
I’m very shy as well but maybe If I had your slim dody and classy look I would do it for sure. You don’t need to show us since it’s something private but I’t could be a pretty detail for your soon to be husband

Go for it! Obviously, keep it safe like your intimates. This is something cool, for the couple to enjoy, for you to embrace your sexiness and if you feel amazing, why not freeze it for life!
I would so do it. Its nice to have a mini photoshoot for your future hubby.
I would specially cause I would be one of those woman that works out hard core before my wedding so I can look my absolute best. It would be a great way to reward myself and be proud of what I’ve achieved!
I would definitely do it! There’s something sweet and intimate about giving your significant other something that is for their eyes only. Knowing you, Chriselle, the shoot would be very, very tasteful.

I’m too shy to get photos like these professionally done..I only want my husband and myself to see me naked. I worked at a photo printing place and all the guys who work there are perverts and show the naked photos that come through to every other guy who work there. So unless I print the photos myself or it is just kept on my husband’s computer i wouldn’t do this..

I wouldn’t. The thought of being almost nude in front of a photographer other than my husband just before my wedding doesn’t sound good to me. Personal opinion..
You should totally do it! You’ll need to pick a great photographer that will capture the shot correctly though

DO IT! Life is short and we should play with our form. You will not regret this when you’re 80… in fact, I think you can imagine what your 80 year old self would say: “Dear… you were so beautiful. Just LOOK at you!”
Go for it and let him take the pictures! In order to respect your husband I don’t think you should post your intimate photos on your website. I mean if it’s his special gift wouldn’t it be more romantic and special if only his eyes saw it? It’s only a thought. Love you Chriselle! Yes, but I would keep them private. I would not post them on a blog, it would be something personal for me to look at later on in life and maybe with my daughter when she is a mature adult. ~ just my thoughts. . . .

If I had a body like yours I wouldn´t hesitate for a second. But I´d do it anyway- imagine looking at the photos when I´m like 70 and thinking “Damn! I was hot when I was young”.

I found this Tumblr post and it reminded me of you and I thought that it would be a few tips for you if you really decide to go through with the boudoir shoot. I personally think that you should because it’s something that you and your future hubby will share just for yourselves. (:
