Started off the morning with my daily coffee run sporting my statement ring that I designed with my girlfriend from JNB Jewels! I’ve started to make some of my own jewelry {just for fun} when I have some down time …its quite therapeutic!! What do you guys think?

After my morning editorial meeting with GENLUX magazine I jetted (with an empty stomache) straight to Cakes By Rumy for my cake tasting for the wedding!
I think the hardest part was figuring out which one I loved most. To be quite honest I just love anything & everything sweet, but sadly yes.. I had to narrow it down to 1 selection. 
Can you guys take a guess which one I loved most??? (haha pretty obvious, aint it?) So I narrowed it down to 2 choices either the mango strawberry which is VERY unique & delicious or the berry chiffon which is as delicious but definitely more common. hmmmm……
After the tasting I had 2 more meetings to go to, but I seriously wanted to crawl up in a ball and fall asleep..SUGAR COMA!!! Anyways which one should I go with? the Mango Strawberry or Berry Chiffon??? Please let me know in the comment section below!!

mango strawberry!!
With the wedding cake, always best to go with a classic light flavour. May not be super exciting, but you know it will please the majority of the guests and that’s the major thing. You look like you’ve got it under control!

I’d love the mango strawberry. But there might be people who don’t like mango/tropical flavors, so it might be best to stick with something more classic like the berry.

It’s your wedding, so choose whichever one you like! But… If you asked me, I’d go for the mango-strawberry because of it’s unique-ness. You’re only going to have this wedding once, so go crazy (but not too crazy)! Happy wedding
i say strawberry mango. youre a wonderfully unique person.. and that should be shown through even little things like your wedding cake. looking back, youd be remembered for “oh yeah she had that really unique but delicious cake” .. that sounds silly but every detail counts !

Well i dunno but in my opinion, choco based on cakes might be intense for wedding cake, so i would prefer abit light cakes such as fruit based and as a fruit, id choose STRAWBERRY!! hehe, Congrats Lovely Chriselle!! ^^

It’s so hard to make a decision when you love them both!! Did you taste test by yourself? Would be nice to have another opinion from a 2nd taste tester – Hubby Perhaps?. Anyway, go for the one that awakened your taste buds the most – the Strawberry Mango.

Get something the majority of the guests will like. You want something classic, and while Mango Strawberry sounds good, go with something more people would like: Berry… And, maybe you could have a Grooms cake or something in Mango Strawberry?

Although I would probably like the Mango one better since Mangos are my favorite fruit I know several people who dont like manogs and since you want everyone to like it I would go with the berry. Best safe than sorry. But if you really like the mango, you can always do a main cake in mango and then have one or two smaller side cakes with more common flavors for those who dont like it.

Soooooooo difficult. I think I’d LOVE having the mango strawberry but pickier eaters will want the berry chiffon methinks, especially since mango allergies are more common than you would think. Go with the berry chiffon to be on the safe side with the guests but request a Mango Strawberry cupcake for yourself!!!
I feel like the Mango Strawberry would be more fitting to your personality, but I’m not sure what you and your future hubby are like as a whole–I’m sure you guys make a standout, beautiful couple! But berry chiffon might be a winner to most people because it’s more common and familiar, and most people love berries, while I don’t find that many who are fond of mangos. Any who, I hope the whole wedding process is as fun as the special day itself~
