Stripes Make The World Go Round

Photography by Jana Williams

Sometimes the best shots are the ones unplanned. As I was {happily} paying the meter my friend & photographer  Jana Williams was snapping away. {beware the LA meter patrol are out to get ya!!}

This sweater dress from Jbrand has to be one of my most basic yet versatile items that I own. Added a pop of color by adding a fuschia skirt, now the dress looks more like a long shirt. Will be posting a blog with JBrand on how to wear this piece as a dress very very soon.

And to top it off added this gorg McGinn striped blazer. I believe that Stripes make the world go round! Stripes can take any casual outfit & transform it into a preppy perfection

xoxo

    Well, I don’t know if stripes make the world go round, but they definitely make MY world go round! It’s my favourite print and I already have entirely too many striped pieces in my wardrobe…but my excuse is always that it’s a classic print so it will never go out of style, right?! :P
    As for your outfit, obviously I love it – grey and pink is one of my favourite colour combinations!

    Loving the pop of fushia! Totally makes your outfit girlie and sexy yet classy due to the shortness of the skirt! Loving it!

    I love how you paired the blazer with the dress! But a quick question: while stripes are quite in right now, they can be unflattering on fuller-figured girls. So how does one pull it off?
