Basic But Not So Basic

Photography by- Christine Chang

{Cut25 blazer, Cut25 dress, Lanvin shoes, Lanvin clutch, Dominic jones & CBD By Charlotte Bjorlin D’ella rings}

{All pieces available at Satine Boutique}

Recently i’ve been drawn to busier pieces with striking prints & colors, but I can’t deny that when I laid my hands on this black and white blazer  my heart fluttered. The perfect leather lining + quilted arm patch on the blazer, and not to mention this impossibly perfect dress with billowy chiffon sleeves paired with delicate pleats! Black and white might be basic but there’s nothing so basic about this outfit, don’t you agree? The details on these two pieces are simply impeccable!

Cannot believe that in just 3 days I will be heading out to the motherland- Seoul, Korea! I’ve heard from a few people that its beyond freezing out there, and im quite sure I wont be able to pull off these california leg baring outfits without freezing my tush off! So this weekend i’ll be shopping for some winter wonderland musthaves! Will be in search for a thick yet still chic parka/anorak + thick cable knitted sweaters + thermals + rain/snow boots!

HAPPY FRIDAY loves! I hope you have an impossibly lovely weekend!!

Love,

Chriselle

I live in Canada and it’s FAR from the warm Californian temperatures here. Parts of Canadian weather are quite similar to that of Korea’s. PLEASE do an outfit for the places that are colder!!! <3

    Today, I went to the beachfront with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is completely off topic but I had to tell someone!
