I know you guys are so used to seeing me dolled up for the camera for my Outfit Of The Days…but here is the real deal! Here are some random action shots of me and my assistants, hard at work, styling the cover shoot for GENLUX magazine. We collaborated with TomFord for this specific shoot and we were able to pull some of the most delicate and intricate pieces I have ever laid my eyes on! Cant wait to share with you guys the editorial once it hit stands next week!

Sunshine & Sequins

Adding a pop of sunshine & Sequins in your winter wardrobe can do wonders on a gloomy & cold winter day. Although here in LA the trees are twinkling and the festive holiday music is playing…cannot get over the fact that yesterday’s wether was in the 80s. It seems as if we might be experiencing another warm christmas!

Hope you have a bright & sunny day and when all else fails just add a pop of sunshine & sequins to your wardrobe!

All Bundled Up!

Must confess it was quite hard to get up & going this morning after a 4 day holiday! This weekend was spent wandering about San Francsico city, bundling up by the fireplace, and heartfelt conversations with the family. On our last night together we spent the afternoon at a gallery exhibit and traipsing about the city…I might’ve just left my heart in SF.

A busy busy week ahead…wrapping up some major projects and preparing for my trip to Asia (Korea & Taiwan to be sepcific).

Hope you have a lovely week!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Here is a little tutorial on What To Wear On Thanksgiving day.

As I will be eating tons of food  i’m all about maximum comfort {without sacrificing style}, so I will be wearing the last outfit on this tutorial! Enjoy :)

H&M Sweater, H&M Skirt, Zara blouse, American Apparel socks, Zara Boots

{H&M sweater, Zara skirt, H&M cardigan, Zara Boots}

{Zara Blouse, H&M Skirt, Zara booties}

{Forever 21 cardigan, BCBG shirt, Free People scarf, Zara pants, Zara booties}

There’s something so nostalgic about Thanksgiving…it’s a time of reflection and a time to give thanks. I’m back in the bay area (where I grew up) with my family as I am writing to you right now. I am beyond grateful for my loving & supportive family, my unbelievably loving fiance, and all of YOU who have supported and encouraged me along the way. You may not think I read comments on my blog, facebook, twitter, & youtube, but I do read EVERYTHING! And although sometimes I may not be able to get back to you..know that your love, support, & kind words have been heartfelt and has encouraged me to continue to do what I do today. so THANK YOU for being YOU!

PS- now put on your stretchy pants and go eat ALOT of food! :)

Yesterday I finally stowed away my summer linens and replaced it with mohair & cashmere.This calls for extra warm & cozy evenings and all the excuse to have a romantic night in!

A couple of November obsessions of mine- 1. Layering socks under boots. 2. Wearing burnt orange & burnt rose is sooo appropriate this time of year. 3. Wearing festive prints! 4. cozying up in anything cashemere!

Homebound it is…will be taking a 5 hour road trip up north with my sis & the beau to be with our family this thanksgiving! There’s something so comforting & nostalgic about going back home for the holidays! Will be uploading a Thanksgiving tutorial first thing tomorrow morning…so keep an eye out for that!

Fade Away

After hours and hours of pouring rain we were able to catch the last 10 minutes of the unseen sun. I was almost SURE we were not able to get an outfit pix due to the gloom & rain but the fact that we were able to capture these beautiful images regardless of the pouring rain got me thinking! The sun has been and will always be there regardless of all the gloomy & cloudy days! Sometimes you just have to be patient and let the clouds Fade Away and let the sun shine thru!

Today my assistants and I will be on set styling the winter cover for GENLUX. Our cover girl is a beautiful french actress in which I’m not allowed to reveal who just yet! After the shoot i’m heading up north back to the bay area for Thanksgiving…this will be my first day off in about 4 weeks! R&R is much needed at this point!

Hope you have a lovely day!

Neon + Leopard

{Dolce & Gabbana Dress, Emily Cho clutch + belt, Jimmy Choo Shoes, Courtney Kaye Bracelet}

And it was a night of glitz & glamour at the Victoria’s Secret fashion show! When it comes to style I generally prefer flowy & romantic, and shy away from glam & sexy.  But this time around my gf Patty at Dolce & Gabbana convinced me that if I were to do sexy this was THE  event to do it! Paired it with this Neon clutch that Emily CHO kindly sent me to my hotel on my arrival. Turned the strap of this bag into a belt, and unexpectedly discovered a new {combo} obsession- Neon + Leopard.

Thank you Dolce & Gabbana for dressing me & Emily CHO for your amazing {to die for} clutch!

Hope your day is filled with glamour!

An Alternative

{Helmut Lang Blazer, ASOS blouse, CeCe Toppings bow, Victorias Secret lace Bra}

Lately I have been indulging in my obsession with bows….specifically PUSSYBOWS. Despite the awkward and slightly derogatory name, I find that these bows add a feminine & playful touch to any simple outfit. It’s such a pretty Alternative to a statement necklace!

Todays agenda consists of appointments and meetings then off to prep for another shoot! btw I’m loving the crisp autumn winds and dusky shadows..tis the season to give and to dream! Hope your day is filled with love and joy today!
