In order to create a great wardrobe you need to start off with The Basics. I have decided to dedicate a whole series on BASICS because they play a huge role in a woman’s closet. In this video I teach you how to style one of my favorite basics….THE LITTLE WHITE DRESS! Hope you enjoy it!
As you guys know I live with my sister Eye It Try It, a food blogger, AND I have a fiance who has an avid passion for cooking…in other words I have become quite dependent, and ummm nonetheless VERY spoiled when it comes to eating.
So….. recently I got the chance to style Laura Dunn in her beautiful home for GENLUX magazine. We took a comedic approach to this editorial by showing how overrated cooking can be. From the burnt pot pies, to eating desert for dinner, Flipping burnt pancakes in her 6 in. Versace heels, and of course heating up a chicken with a fire distinguisher.
Fortunately & unfortunately I was slightly able to relate to this editorial! But I am determined to learn how to cook…soon! Nevertheless we had a blast styling this shoot!!!You can find this editorial on stands now in the fall issue of GENLUX magazine.
This weekend was spent traipsing up & around downtown, dinner reservations, & shopping extravaganzas. But most of all spending quality time with my ever so loving mommy and sis Eye It Try It.
With Summer coming to an end i’ve been spending most of my days in bright vibrant colors. Never thought of pairing this amazing Agave Purple stone bracelet Ive had sitting ever so quietly in the back of my jewelry closet with this pretty fuschia pink skirt.
…and its Monday! back to work and back to reality! It’s a jam packed week with endless meetings and a whole lot of shoots!
HAPPY MONDAY Darlins’!

Recently I got the honor of styling the former President Vicente Fox and his wife Dona Marta Fox. Working with them made me realize how humbly & gratefully we all ought to live .
Speaking of living humbly…this estate, as you can see, is definitely not your humble little abode. (FYI this is NOT the president’s estate but a random location we shot at) As a stylist I’ve been able to travel to some cool places and experience some unique things, but I can say that this estate has been the most jaw dropping & ridiculous location I’ve ever been to. After spending a whole day with a venetian theatre , hidden Moroccan spa, endless hallways, and secret gardens…I have to admit it was quite hard to snap back into reality.
Just wanted to share my magical experience with you all! The editorial of President Fox will be featured in the holiday issue of GENLUX magazine.
P.S You know I’ve had one hell of a day when I bust out my samurai hair -do. Please dont mind my crazy samurai bun…this is actually how I look like when I work…not so glamorous ey?
I surely do…especially after I laid my eyes on this beautiful Roberto Cavalli bejeweled reptile. It’s one of those pieces that my heart froze & fluttered for. Has your heart froze & fluttered for anything before??
Lately i’ve been finding myself wearing the same accessories and changing up the outfits. These days you will never see me without my black leather brim hat, House of Harlow sunglasses, Beso beso jewelry, Michael kors watch and of course my engagement ring. Speaking of my engagement ring i’ve been finding comfort in wearing All White lately. possibly my subcautious is telling me I need to start planning this wedding of mine! *sighhhhh if only I had more hours in the day. I definitely can use some advice on wedding planning right about now….or someone just really needs to kick me from behind to get me going!

It feels as if, at any moment, Summer could slip right through our fingers…. So I’ve been traipsing around town on a summer’s day in my salmon pink pants. Its that perfect pink that can easily be mistaken for a cotton candy/barbie pink…so I decided to harden it up a bit with this sleevless Rachel Roy army vest. If there was one word that can best describe my style it would be JUXTAPOSE. The best outfits usually come from mixing different elements of classic & trendy, colorful and ordinary, edgy and sweet…. breaking up the expected and pairing it with the unexpected.

Before dashing out the door at the break of dawn to arrive on set on time with a latte in one hand and a rack of clothes in the other…a very favorite way to wear my hair these days is under this black leather rimmed hat. ONE.. my hair is growing at a crazy fast pace that is quite untamable at the moment and TWO to protect my skin from basking in the summer sun for 9 hours.
Leather pencil skirts, Cashmere belted coats, sleek wool pantsuits, and powdery suede boots has been the name of the game for the past couple of Fall/Winter shoots we have been styling. Can we say these pieces are utterly perfect for the transition from the hazy summer evenings to crisp autumn mornings?
As much as I love the long days of summer I prefer Fall/winter fashion over spring/summer. It gives me room to be more creative with layers! How about you? Do you guys prefer Summer fashion or Fall fashion?
