Hourglass Shape

Good Morning! It’s a 3 cups of freshly ground coffee and pleated skirt type of morning!

Lately I’ve been really inspired by well groomed and tailored looks from the 50s. The 50′s embraced the hourglass shape from the small cinched in waistline to the full skirt. I love how this jacket is perfectly tailored to fit my body and flares out in the hip area which allows me to fake the 50′s hourglass shape!

Would you rock the circle skirt?

I love the 50s style, but I could never pull it off unless I was going to a special occasion – it’s a little too put together for me on a daily basis.

I work in a super casual environment (think jeans + tshirt + flip flops) and I would just feel way too out of place with an outfit like that.

However, on the weekend’s a different story ;)

    Love the outfit, Love,

I do, It’s my favourite look. Being a bigger person the 50′s skirts really help me gain confidence, cause it highlights my hips, and it just flatters… me :)
