This was taken behind the scenes at our recent shoot for the holiday issue of GENLUX magazine! I styled the model in this beautiful Givenchy ivory blouse with a pair of Burberry silk satin pants, and belted with a thick Burberry belt. I cannot wait til this issue comes out in stores and not to mention i will also be styling the cover of the holiday issue for GENLUX magazine this coming Friday!
Heres how a typical day and a typical outfit looks like for me while working on set. Scalloped shorts- to tan my pasty white legs, Bright colored scarf- to jazz up a simple outfit & also to protect my chest & shoulder from the sun, & of course a wide brimmed hat- to protect my skin from the damaging rays!
It’s all about functionality and comfort at it’s best. What’s YOUR everyday “Go -to look?”
This past weekend Michelle Phan and I attended a wedding in Dana Point! We both wore fairly simple one piece dresses but we jazzed up our looks with these bold clutches! Feathers and studs…what a beautiful combination! Her clutch is from ASOS and mine is from Jimmy Choo!
I was so hungry, in between the ceremony & reception, that I was ready to eat my Jimmy Choo alive! Choos for Dinner, Anyone?
Michelle was wearing a beautiful cape dress from zara and a bold statement necklace from H&M. I was wearing a one shouldered dress from H&M. I always say stick with simple pieces that drapes nicely over your body and get creative with your accessories!
RULE OF THUMB- When wearing a simple outfit always have one thing that really POPS! In this case I was wearing my glittery disco ball Jimmy Choo shoes (unfortunately my camera died before I was able to take a pix of them!) that really made this look like a million bucks! Michelle on the other hand made a statement with her bold metallic necklace!
At the end of the night we were exhausted from dancing the night away!
Not sure about you but i’m not quite ready to let go of the last starlit Summer days just yet. Seems like August is slipping right thru the cracks of my fingers…..
so i’ve been enjoying the last chances to wear these short sultry leather minis & sheer blouses. I’ve never been a fan of the color green but things may change this upcoming autumn. Im learning to love these shades of green… especially Kelly & Emerald green.
another weekend has come and gone within seconds but it’s back to the grind back to reality! HAPPY MONDAY!

Some of you guys have noticed by now but rarely will you ever catch me without a belt…it’s one of those pick me up pieces you can always count on! I dedicated this tutorial on teaching you 4 simple ways on how to tie your belt! (Also some added in silly bloopers at the very end :P)
I have about 100 + belt tricks up my sleeve so please let me know if you enjoyed this tutorial and possibly we will create a Part 2 of this video!

Here are some random snippets of my life captured all in my humble little abode. I’ve always had an affair with all things glittery …from my chandelier to my blinding Jimmy Choos. A bouquet of fresh bloomed Hydrangeas in every corner of the house is a necessity. Im surely enjoying this organized chaos look….whether it be all my favorite books stacked together or all my fave shoes lined up against my leopard couch!
so ….. Welcome to my humble little abode! Make yourself feel at home
Good Morning! It’s a 3 cups of freshly ground coffee and pleated skirt type of morning!
Lately I’ve been really inspired by well groomed and tailored looks from the 50s. The 50′s embraced the hourglass shape from the small cinched in waistline to the full skirt. I love how this jacket is perfectly tailored to fit my body and flares out in the hip area which allows me to fake the 50′s hourglass shape!
Would you rock the circle skirt?

It’s been one of those perfectly beautiful August weekends! Spent most of the weekend frolicking in long maxis (as seen here in this tutorial)to the flower mart, cafe dates, and dinner reservations. We filmed 2 new tutorials yesterday in our litle bungalow at the Chateau Marmont. Work hardly seems like work when you are sun drenched and surrounded by beautiful things.
And now to start off my Monday morning with a strong latte… catch me traipsing about town from meetings to meetings! HAPPY MONDAY darlins’!
I’m all smiles because its Friday and im soooo ready for the weekend!! In search of a wedding location this weekend Round 3…that perfect romantic & leafy terrace with fallen petals everywhere. I feel though as if finding a location out in Paris would be that much easier. If Only LA Were In Paris…
There’s something that is so subtly sexy about a backless piece. Sometimes I feel as if the least obvious can be the most daring. They say less Is more but I say More Is less…with a little bit of neck & back cleavage!
I cant say I have a favorite color but I’ve always had an undying romance with shades of blush & champagne. Im feeling quite romantic today in my fluttery sheer top intermingled with delicate polka dots & that perfect patent Valentino bow. Wide leg trousers have always reminded me of the sophisticated seventies..
The 50′s & 70′s have always been my favorite fashion decades….What is your favorite decade? Let me know in the comment section below!
